Friends of Cancer Research has posted a summary of the fifth annual Conference on Clinical Cancer Research, held Nov. 14, in Washington, DC. The conference brought together leaders from federal health and regulatory agencies, academic research centers, patient advocacy organizations and the private sector to propose consensus solutions and develop a clear path forward on critical issues surrounding the development and regulation of drugs and therapies.

The conference was hosted by Friends of Cancer Research and the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at Brookings, and supported by ASCO, American Association for Cancer Research, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
